Mark 5 Steel Chain Roller Skids

Mark 5 individual roller skids are designed to handle loads up to 30,000 lbs. Endless steel roller chains move extremely heavy loads across uneven or distressed concrete floors.

The Mark 5 has a 6¼″ wide frame that provides a more favorable distribution of weight. The roller skids endless circulating roller chain revolves around a center load bearing plate in the frame, that provides maximum maneuverability in the tightest quarters on ordinary concrete floors. The weight of the load is transferred directly from the load bearing plate rollers, eliminating axle friction and requiring less motive power to start and move load. Each roller uses shielded bearings to prevent failure and prolong roller service life. The wider framed Mark 5 has 14 rollers for a more favorable distribution of weight.
